Looking at reviews???

How many times have you checked the reviews of hotels? Restaurants? any place that you could possibly look up..Probably a lot.

When I planned my first trip to Walt Disney World I was constantly looking at reviews. I was looking into disney hotels and I kept reading people talk about bed bugs, bad room service, great room service, crowded, thin walls, AC didn't work. You name it! but that didn't stop me from going..

When I have a good experience at a place I almost never leave a review but if I had a horrible experience then you bet that I will post something about it. Though unfair it happens quite often. People have their opinions but everybody have different experiences.

At the end of the day you will be the one who has to choose.

Disney World payment plan????

Have you ever thought " I want to go to DISNEY WORLD!!!" and then started researching as if you have all the money in the world and then looked at your cart and saw that comma telling you your in the thousand dollar range (which for at the time wasn't in my bank account lol) but your already to pumped. I had that moment.

I was looking into all the shows, the deals they have, events that occur each season, and all the parks since I had never been there before. Then I look at the price and at first i'm like thats not bad for all the stuff I want to do. I look at my bank account and it's just.....not possible. Then I was told that you only need a $ 200 deposit and you can pay it off whenever you want as long as its a little over a month out of your arrival date.

They now offer a Disney Vacation Account which you can probably compare to a savings account. It helps you budget and plan for your Disney vacation =D

Metal Detectors..WHAAAA

Rumors going around about metal detectors at Universal Studios- Orlando?

Thoughts?

I personally think that it send a bad message to people. At Six Flags Magic Mountain in CA they have metal detectors and I was never a big of it. There are 3 lines that people have to go through. Ticket, metal detectors, then gate. It was a huge hassle. I can understand that they are trying to be safe but it makes it feel like i'm a criminal. I can see the point at an airport but a theme park? no way!

That's just me.

California LOOOOOOVE

Hello!

Just in case you didn't know yet, I am from California. Woot Woot!

I may post a lot about Disney but I know a lot about Southern California. If you need any tips or suggestions I can definitely point you the right way. For example, knowing which beach is less packed, or if you want a beach with a lot of shopping choices, or maybe you just want a clean beach!

If you like thrill rides and you are visiting Cali then Six Flags  Magic Mountain is a must do!

If you want to just chill and walk around with some cool shopping options then I would suggest CityWalk which is connected to the Universal entrance. If you are a disney fan then think of it as the downtown disney of Universal. 

If you happen to be a Disney lover then obviously Disneyland is a must!

Just 4-5 hours away from Los Angles, California is Las Vegas which I was able to visit quite often! I was actually just there for New Years which was a lot of fun!

My favorite Go To

When I plan a vacation I usually have about 10 tabs open which can be really stressful when you're trying to navigate through everything. Once I started smelling the smoke coming out of my ears I hopped onto youtube and  try to get a sense of the layout of the location I am visiting.

So when I first looked into Disney World I kept finding videos about families and the experience their kids had. I don't have kids! I wanted to know what I could experience as an adult that would be visiting with their partner. That is when I found Seeyareelsoon on youtube. They are this lovely couple that absolutely loves disney and visits quite often.

What was really cool about them is that they not only record their experience but they also give helpful information about resorts, how they plan, and how to figure out whether the dining plan is a good fit for you. Another nifty thing they did is a show schedule where one sheet of paper has all the show times.

24 Hour Events!

Disneyland and Walt Disney World are hosting the Coolest Summer Ever 24 hour event on May 22-23 from 6m-6am.

I have personally never been to one but all the youtube videos i've seen look like so much fun!!
